Sorry about the confusion! Let me see ...Hi Holly,

Sorry about the confusion! Let me see if I can explain it better-
1. Make a slip knot on one end of the string and put that around your foot.

2. Make a slip knot on the other end, put that around your finger and put the finger with the string on the tragus. If you don't put your finger on the outside of the ear you won't be able to hear the string.

You should now have one end of the string around your foot and the other around your finger with that finger on the tragus. The other hand should be free.

3. Using the free hand, pluck the string. This will sound like a string bass. The beautiful part is you really hear a simulated string bass but you're the only one that can hear it.

Please, if this still doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll see if I can get my husband to video tape me with a string so you can see.

Thanks for your reply!!
AmyAmy Abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01122184843941987903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7013471045320036116.post-23675015794021786072012-07-14T16:07:17.821-06:002012-07-14T16:07:17.821-06:00I love this!!

Are they supposed to do this as they pluck the string? How do they do both at the same time with their free hand?Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02217845916999512169noreply@blogger.com
